CoolPeel® is ideal for patients who want to improve fine lines, texture, pores, and mild sun damage with minimal downtime. During your consultation, we will evaluate your skin type, medical history, and current skincare to ensure CO₂ resurfacing is appropriate and safe for you.

Many patients see meaningful improvement after a single CoolPeel® session. For more significant texture, scarring, or deeper lines, a series of 2–3 treatments spaced 4–6 weeks apart is often recommended. Your provider will design a plan tailored to your goals.

Most patients describe CoolPeel® as very tolerable. A topical numbing cream is applied beforehand to maximize comfort. You may feel warmth or a prickling sensation during the treatment, which typically lasts 10–20 minutes depending on the area.

CoolPeel® and Tetra PRO CO₂ can be used on the face, neck, and décolleté, and in some cases on the body for texture or scarring. We will discuss ideal treatment zones and customize the approach based on your skin and goals.

You may notice brighter, smoother skin within the first 1–2 weeks as the surface heals. Collagen remodeling continues for several weeks, so improvement in fine lines, firmness, and texture builds gradually over 2–3 months.

Expect redness and a sandpaper-like texture for a few days. Many patients feel comfortable working from home or running light errands during this time. More intensive resurfacing protocols may require additional social downtime, which will be reviewed with you before treatment.

We generally recommend avoiding retinoids, exfoliants, and direct sun exposure for several days before treatment. Please disclose any recent procedures, medications, or active skin conditions so we can safely plan your session.
